Electronic Tax Forms
Last updated October 2, 2026
For each fundraiser on EveryMVP, its organizer agrees to receive its tax forms, such as Form 1099, electronically instead of on paper. Organizers agree in the payout step of each fundraiser. Here’s what the agreement means.
- Tax forms are only needed if your fundraiser payout crosses a certain threshold determined by federal and local tax authorities.
- Without this agreement, any tax form we owe you would be mailed on paper.
- This agreement covers every tax form for the fundraiser you agree for, this year and later years, until you withdraw it.
- By the IRS deadline each year (usually January 31), we’ll email you when your forms are ready to download. Each form stays available through October 15 of that year.
- You’ll need internet access, an email account, and a way to open PDF files, which most phones and computers have. If that changes, we’ll ask you to agree again.
- To get a free paper copy, or to withdraw this agreement, email [email protected]. We’ll confirm by email.
- If you withdraw it or close your account, any form not yet sent will be mailed on paper, and you won’t be able to start any new fundraisers.
- To update your email address or other details, email [email protected].
